The Wüdenknipple resort lodge, available as a rental cabin, lies in the heart of Michigan’s upper peninsula in Snow Country, located just outside of Bessemer, Michigan in Gogebic county.

While the rental cabin is situated at the foot of Big Powderhorn Mountain, you can easily travel to Indianhead Resort or Blackjack Resort which are both within a 10 minute drive of the lodge.
You can enjoy a day of snow tubing at Mt Zion Recreational Complex.
Cross country skiing is available in many areas if you have the U.P. Trails homepage (the vacation rental cabin you are looking at is in Gogebic county).
Snowmobile and ATV vacationers are also welcome and may find snowmobile trail maps here.
Summer attractions:
The UP has something for everyone in the summer. The lodge is open as a summer vacation rental too, in fact the cabin is available for rent all year long.
Cycle the UP on your mountain bike or your road bike. Visit Hobby Wheel in Ironwood for maps, service and supplies.
Fantastic fishing and boating are available at Lake Gogebic State Park.
Kayaking is available in the area from Lake Superior or local lakes and rivers.
Porcupine Mountains State Park is an easy drive, just to the north of the lodge.
Copper Peak ski flying area is a short bike ride away in the summer time and you can get to the observation tower on top if you have the $6, and guts!
ATV vacationers are also welcome and may find snowmobile trail maps here.
